Dish Name: Watermelon Rind Halwa
Brief Description: Watermelon rind halwa is a sweet dish and is made of skin of watermelon which is known as rind. Usually people tend to have only red flesh and outer skin is considered to be waste. However it is very healthy and has got many benefits associated with it. And that is the whole reason why I have opted for this dish.
List of Ingredients:
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Rawa – 1 tbsp
Grated watermelon skin – 1 cup
Milk – 1 & 1/2 Cup
Cardamom – 1⁄4 tsp
Step by step preparation:
Step 1. Grate the watermelon rind,
Step 2. Heat Ghee in a pan,
Step 3. Add Rawa and roast it,
Step 4. Add Grated watermelon rind and roast till 90% of water is evaporated,
Step 5. Add milk in little portion,
Step 6. Add sugar and cardamom powder,
Step 7. Mix well and keep Stirring it,
