Dish Name: Stuffed Bajri Rolls
Brief Description: Leftover Bajri khichdi cooked as new dish in next morning. I make khichiya (same as parantha) and stuffed it with different taste of vegetables to make rolls and eat with green chatni. These rolls are very delicious and best use of khichdi. No one family member eat khichdi again in morning, so this is another way to stop wasting food and cook it differently.
List of Ingredients: 1 cup Bajri khichdi, ½ cup wheat flour, Vegetables (Boiled potato, tomato, capsicum, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli) All spices, 1 spoon Mustard seeds,10-12 Curry leaves, ½ cup curd, ½ tsp hing, As needed oil.
Step by step preparation:
Cooking time – 30-35 minutes
1. Mix cooked khichdi and wheat flour, now make soft dough.
2. Take a little piece of dough and start making khichiya (same as parantha)
3. Put oil in pan, then add one by one Mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, ginger, potato and capsicum saute it.
4. Now add all spices like red chilli podwer, salt as taste, coriander powder, turmeric powder and mix it.
5. Add chopped roasted tomato, rolls stuffing is ready.
6. Take a jar put in it tomato, coriander leaves, ginger, green chilli, cumin seeds, Red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt as taste, hing and grind all these.
7. Add this mixture in beated curd, Now Green chatni is ready for serving with stuffed rolls.
8. Take khichiya (same as parantha) spread tomato ketchup and put stuffing on it and serve with green chatni.
Now Mouth-watering Stuffed Bajri Rolls are ready to eat.
