Dish Name: Roti Gulab Jamun
Brief Description: I have selected to make gulab jamun by leftover roti …usually every morning some roti’s are left …So I think about it what to do of these roti rather than throw it out. On daily routine sweet dish is not available at home but everybody wants some dessert after having meal. So, I have tried to make gulab jamun with these roti’s and these are very delicious as same as original gulab jamun. It’s very easy to cook.
List of Ingredients: 3 Leftover roti, 1 cup cream, 2 spoon ghee, as needed oil to fry, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 10 Chopped badam.
Step by step preparation:
Cooking Time -40-45 minutes
For Gulab Jamun balls:
1. Grind roti and make powder.
2. Using cream to make soft dough of powder.
3. Take little piece of dough on palm and make round shape balls.
4. Fry all Gulab Jamun balls in hot oil on low flame till golden.
For Sugar syrup:
5. Boil sugar and water together…When sugar melted boil it till syrup make one string.
6. Now Dip Gulab jamun fried balls in warm syrup for 15-20 minutes.
Enjoy yummy Gulab Jamun from leftover roti.
