MasterChef Aditi Madan aka MomoMami
Founder Director of Bluepine Foods Pvt. Ltd. and Yangkiez | Brand: Momo Mami
“I am an accidental entrepreneur. I was like anyone else, trying to find a way and purpose in life. The turning point of my life came in Delhi when I desired to re-create the soul-nourishing Himalayan food that I had grown up on.”
About Aditi
Popularly known as Momo Mami, Aditi Bhutia Madan is a trailblazing food entrepreneur from Darjeeling and the Founder of BluePine Foods Pvt. Ltd., a sustainable food company that brings the rich, authentic flavours of the Himalayas to modern urban consumers.
She first stepped into the spotlight as a Top Six finalist on Amul MasterChef India Season 3 in 2013. That experience became the catalyst for her journey into entrepreneurship, innovation, and food-based cultural storytelling.
Her Venture: BluePine Foods
Established in 2016, BluePine Foods is known for its natural, preservative-free, and handcrafted momos, combining Himalayan tradition with modern convenience. From just three products at inception, the company now offers 40+ SKUs, including vegan, diabetic-friendly, and gluten-free varieties.
With a robust production facility and a hybrid model of Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales, BluePine is scaling sustainably while staying rooted in authenticity.
Social Impact & Inclusion
Aditi’s entrepreneurial mission is deeply tied to empowerment. Her company employs a workforce where 80% are women from rural and marginalised backgrounds across India. Inspired by her role as a team member of Golden Eye Chef, the world’s first and only global cooking competition for the blind and visually impaired, she actively employs visually impaired individuals at her production facility.
She champions Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as both a business principle and a personal commitment.
