Dish Name: Fodnichi Poli and laddoo
Brief Description: Last night chapatti was leftover so I stored it in fridge and then made a wonderful tasty dish using minimum items, which is really healthy and nutritious. It can be made easily anytime because some or other time we have left over chapatti in everyone’s house.
List of Ingredients:
1. Leftover chapatti-one (crushed)
2. Onion-one whole
3. Tomato- one whole
4. Curry leaves – 5-6 in no.
5. Chilli – one
6. Oil- 2 tsp
7. Rai, Haldi, Hing- ½ tsp
8. Salt- as required
9. Jaggery, Cardomom, Nutmeg(jayfal), Pure Ghee- as required (for laddoo)
Step by step preparation:
1. Crush the left over chapatti by hand or in mixer for fine grinding.
2. Chop onion and tomatoes.
3. Preheat the kadhai and add oil in it.
4. Add rai, curry leaves, chilli, hing, haldi when the oil is heated very well.
5. Add onion, tomatoes and salt in it and stir well for few minutes.
6. Add the crushed chapatti in it and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. And the dish is ready to serve.
8. Some of the crushed chapatti is well mixed with jaggery, cardamom ghee and jayfal binding into laddoo.
