Dish Name: Fodnicha Bhaat
Brief Description: In the afternoon, few guests had arrived for lunch and so some of the rice was leftover so I kept it in fridge for the evening, and decided to make a wonderful tasty dish using minimum items, which is really healthy and nutritious. It can be made easily anytime because some or other time we have left over rice in everyone’s house.
List of Ingredients:
1. Left over Rice- 5-6 big spoon
2. Chopped Carrot- one full
3. French beans- 5-6 in no chopped
4. Green peas – few 5. Garlic – 7-8 cloves
6. Ginger small piece
7. Curry Leaves – 4-5
8. Chilli – 2-3 in no.
9. Oil- 2 big tsp
10. Cumin seeds, salt as required Coriander and chopped coconut for garnishing.
Step by step preparation:
1. Chop garlic and ginger into small pieces.
2. Preheat the kadhai and add oil into it. Add cumin seeds in it. Fry them.
3. Add cutted garlic and ginger into it. Add curry leaves, chilli, salt in it.
4. Add the chopped vegetables, peas into the kadhai.
5. Add some water for cooking the vegetables very well.
6. Cover the kadhai with pan. After few minutes, when the vegetables are cooked very well add leftover rice into it.
7. Stir well and cook for few minutes.
8. After it is done put the rice in plate and garnish it with coconut and coriander.
